Sailing Celebrity INFINITY nest april on a westbound full Panama transit. I get th e feeling the FuerteAmador stop, at the end of the transit, 6.30pm for approx 5 hours, tendering, is really a '' fuel barge' stop.
Can anybody who's '' been there 'n' done that '' clarify for me ??
Our cruisemates think this could be a good opportunity to hop on a tender, get to Panama city, visit, come back, etc etc....My opinion is, it's already dark, only 5 hours from anchor to moving out, ship ( per webcam shots I previously observed) drops anchor close to one of the mini islands that form sort of a breakwater at the entrance of the Pacific, thus not all that close to Panama City....really not worth it.
Am I right ??? Or can I be corrected ??
