My husband received a creditcard statement from Iguana Joes in Aruba. We had not been there for two years. We have disputed this. I posted this on another cruise website and there have been other that this has happened to also. Happy Sailing, Joy
Perhaps your post should read "be careful using credit card at Iguana Joe's in Aruba". No sense in writing off a whole island because of one crooked bartender at one establishment.
Obviously you disputed the charge. In addition did you try to pass on this information to your credit card company's fraud division? How about to the management at Iguana Joe's Aruban authorities or Aruban toursit board?
I'm sure that the Aruban authroities will get right on it! Although we enjoyed our cruise that stopped there in March our excursion did not live up to what was advertised (supposed to be taken to the lighthouse by boat--the highlight of the excursion) & the man in charge of our boat was not very pleasant about why he could not take us to where we were supposed to go--said it was a busy day......(I thn they were saving gas) We had a great time elsewhere at El gaucho etc but with recent events in mind we won;'t be heading back...not anytime soon...hope your credit card gets fixed....
