Grenada and Grand Anse Beach

Can anyone tell me how long it takes to get to Grand Anse Beach from the cruise dock. How much is cab fare? Would you recommend any other beaches to visit in Grenada? Thank you!

Nope, but if you get the chance to do the Rhum Runner trip (if you like rum punch) then i'd do this! its good fun, with unlimited rum punch! steel band, limbo etc
you go to Mourne Rouge beach which is a nice little beach, spent most of the time in the sea....the guys from the boat bring you out rum punch into the sea! lovely....!

We went to Grenada last year on Golden Princess and took the Party Boat and Cruise to Morne Rouge beach also. It's a beautiful beach, would have liked to stay a little longer, but enjoyed it. Nice cruise over there and on the way back they served drinks, some snacks, and had steel band music, limbo and dancing. It was a lot of fun. You can rent chairs if you want, think it was $5 each, and there was sun and shade. There are vendors there too, can get a little insistent like a lot of places. Wanted to head over to Grand Anse Beach in the afternoon but ended up taking a taxi tour of part of the island instead. If you go there, please let us know how you liked it for future reference. I read that there is a water taxi that goes there from the pier area and it's not too expensive. Have fun.
