Emerald Beach Resort? St Thomas

Hi has anyone done the Emerald Beach resort while on St. Thomas? we are thinking of getting a Day room there when in port that day?

If you have been how was it?

its been a few years since we have been there, and we were there only for the beach and use of the waverunners.
The biggest drawback is that it is located next to the airport, its noisy with the planes taking off over your head. We weren't overly impressed with it. Its not your typical breathtaking beautiful St. Thomas beach. It was just ok.

We went last Feb. CP, excursion with shopping. My bad on another post
I called it Sapphire beach. It is next to the airport, that wasn't so bad.
We used the facilities, the pool was nice. We never ate there, and we never got a room, plenty of chairs and so much shade. The beach was nice, it's like a bay. Water clear and warm. We have never been to any other beach so I wasn't let down.. It's not snow so I'm happy.
