Question on playa mia beach resort

I just noticed that on the Carnival buy excursion The Playa Mia excursions is now off the list I was wondering if the beach is all right or if it was destroyed ? We were really looking forward to going there . Or could someone tell me if you can go there on your own if Carnival is not offering it for some reason . If anyone knows the price of the three packages they offer or the taxi ride price to the beach?
