Default St Thomas or St. John for Snuba/Snorking

I am planning to go snubing at one of this islands but I don't know which one to choose. Please help if you can.

If anybody can please tell me about the difference between the two for snubing, I will greatly appreciate it.

Also, after snubing, is there enough time to go to paradise point. the top of St. Thomas?

Thanks for all the info.
