Default Cozumel, any food or area to avoid ?

This will be our first cruise as well as our first trip to Cozumel.
We have been to Cancun twice, but only ate food at the resorts or on the hotel strip. I had previously thought that it was a good idea to stay away from anything that was not cooked (ie salads, fresh fruits or vegetables, water, ice, etc...)
Is there any food or area of cozumel that should be avoided ?

go to established restaurants, and chains and you should have no problems. Not sure which restaurants are open Cozumel is still recovering from last summers hurricane. Ask the Purser when you get onboard the ship.

Hi there, Cozumel is very safe, wherever you go as well with children. Food is not dangerous, beware of the habanero chile...otherwise enjoy Cozumel !!
