Default what to do in puerto rico?
Does anyone know of any nice sails in p. rico? how is the shopping there? may just want to walk around to shop and lunch. any advice? thanks!

Its actually nice to walk around Old San Juan, shop, or visit El MOrro...You should be able to get a street map from the ship.

totally agree with Donna. Old San Juan and Ft. El Morro.
You can always book a tour up into the rainforest- gorgeous.

We did the El Morro and Old San Juan thing too and if you decide to walk around Old San Juan you have got to go to the place where the Pina Colada was invented (if you like Pina Colada's of course ). It was the best Pina Colada I have ever had - didn't realize they could taste any different. Our tour we took dropped us off at the Pina Colada place and we shopped for awhile and walked back to our ship - not far at all. I loved Puerto Rico.

The Pina Colada place is called Barrachina's on Fortaleza Street in Old San Juan. They give free samples if you ask.

A ferry ride to the rum distillery from old San Juan is pretty easy.
Go to pier # in 2,old san juan, but before you do, check out the Don Q rum store accoss the street.

If you are just wanting to walk around old san juan you dont need a cab its in wallking distance. A lot of people take a cab not realizng that you are pretty much all ready in old san juan.

It depends on which side of the bay you're docked at as to whether you need a cab. For sight seeing, Forts El Morro & Cristobol, walking in old San Juan, walking along the outside of the old city walls.
