Internet & calling cards in St. T, Barbados, Dominica, A
Need advice on calling cards and/or internet options in St. Thomas, Barbados, Dominica, and Aruba. Can anyone offer information on using the phones at the ports? Buy a phone card on shore? Cost? Reliable? I thought about getting an AT&T calling card.
Also, locations of internet cafes and prices. Any information appreciated! Thanks.
In St. Thomas, there is an AT&T call center. Go straight through the Havensight shopping mall, exit to the left, go about 1 to 2 blocks, the AT & T center is on the right. If you have an AT&T calling card, just use it, no extra charges. (no connection charge like lots of the pay phones)
Not sure about the other islands. Hope this helps!

Unfortunately, the AT&T calling center is closed (if it's the one I think you're talking about). However, there are several other options.
The closest and most comfortable one is CyberZone, which is directly ACROSS the street from the Havensight shopping area in Al Cohen's Mall. They rent phones, sell phone cards, and offer internet access.
There's another one in town, Beans, Bytes, and Websites located in Royal Dane Mall.
There's one in Aruba, but I can't remember where it is, but I know it's in some coffee shop. You'll probably have to ask around - I don't remember it being that easy to find.
I have sprint cell service and it didn't cost me anything to call from St. Thomas. If you have that then your in luck.
Life is too short to let the ship of your dreams sail without you.
