Hello! Please share any info you can about the best beaches offering day passes on our Adventure of the Seas Ports in: St Martin, St. Johns Antigua, Castries St. Lucia and Bridgetown Barbados. We usually try to just find nice beaches with bathrooms, chair & float rentals, decent lunch food, drinks for kids and alcohol for us---we are on vacation. AOS gets in at 7am and leaves at 5:30, so we try to get our own cab rides and make a day of it. any info on beach names or hotels who offer day passes and pricing would be great thanks!
We did a day pass in St. Lucia at one of their Sandals. You had to take a cab there, but one of them was fairly close to the pier, so a short cab ride. They have a booth by the pier. You can get all the information and pricing.
Check out their web-site for more details. We had use of the pool, beach, food and drinks and If I remember correctly, it was $84 for the both of us, just no use of a guest room.
In barbados, I caught a cab to Malibu beach (5 min. ride from the pier). They have the chairs and everything. The beach was great. The sand was like powder. You could take a tour of the Malibu rum factory. There were plenty of people there selling water sport stuff. They also have showers and lockers for free.

Donna,
Thanks for the reply. Since this was Sandals, it probably would not be good for our big family kids etc., right????? Your $84 day pass was for a couple and are you saying it included drinks (reg. and mixed??) and food while you used the Sandals beach? We will need a family frinedly beach with the basics for food bathrooms drinks etc. Again thanks!
Donna- I just got off the phone with Sandals 800-number. The reservation lady told me that a day pass at any Sandals property is $100. US per person and is valid from 10AM - 6PM. Is this the same sort of pass that you had?
It seems rather high in cost... $84 for two people is so much more reasonable that $200 for two!!!!!
I went a few years ago, so obviously, the prices have gone up and I do believe, Sandals is for adults, no kids. Each one is different and different pricing, so be sure to check with the specific one you want. In St. Lucia, there are 3 different ones, all different pricing.
