Grand Pineapple vs Jolly Beach in Antigua Day Passes

I have seen both of these mentioned, but I want to know about it from someone who RECENTLY (last 3 years or less) went to either and if they felt it was "worth it." for the Day Passes. I am considering this option in Antigua. Both websites look great but want to hear how those who have experienced it felt about the experience.

can't help with recent info but was intrigued by seeing Jolly beach listed--we were there about 20 yrs ago at the resort Bet alot has changed (condos etc.) so I'll be interested to read the responses to the intial post... if the beach hasn't changed--it was beautiful!

I live here, I can tell you that Jolly beach is better for drinking and meeting people. Pineapple is better for relaxing, so I guess its what you want to do.

Jolly Beach is better than Long Bay Beach for water color and sand color but Long Bay Beach is better for snorkling.

PBR has an overall better atmosphere but JBR has a better pool.

JBR is closer to town

There are plenty of activities at both.

So I guess you have to decide, what do you want to do on your day pass?
