Default San Juan Time Crunch

On our Xmas cruise through Panama Canal, we debark in San Juan. Our plane leaves San Juan at 11:15 A.M. What are the bets on whether or not we can get off the ship in time to make the flight?

Has anybody made the 11:15 American Airlines flight from a cruise in San Juan?

It willo be tight getting off but there are two things you have to do,if you dont change your flight,
1-Make sure you get an early off pass, aloows you to be one of the first off.
2-Take a cab to the airport,it will get you there faster then if you take the transfer bus.It will cost you about $20 plus your bags.

that is cutting it waaayyy to close for comfort. You should book something after 12pm at the earliest.
San Juan airport on a good day is zooie at best, not to mention the additional crunch of holiday travelers.

Well I got a little scared, soooooo I called Princess:

Surprise! They said it was safe to book a flight as early as 10:45 A.M. The ship makes land at 6:00 A.M. and they are hopeful to get us off and through customs in plenty of time. We normally don't cut it this close but the airfare using this AA flight was hundreds of dollars less.

Let's hope it works. Hmmmmmmmm!
