Hey, notice the new company on cave tubing in Belize - ***edited to remove advertising ***- they're offering a "cruise special" on cave tubing for $35 bucks. That's gotta be great. Understand these guys were the ones who established that tour for cruisers to Belize. That makes them experienced, I believe. I saw some posts on them in that website as well, and they seem pretty good. I'm passing the word on to my cruise buddies. We're on Royal Caribbean's Explorer of the Seas to Western Caribbean ports December. Oh yeah. Beer in every port. Whooo...hoooo. Xmas at sea....
My initial response usually is "you get what you pay for". In this case, if the guide is Reggie, his original tour was very good and he was well trained. I would recommend that you book and enjoy this opportunity in Belize.
This guy's name is Tom. And there's a Tom Sr. and a Tom Jr.
I sent off an email asking about the excursion and he answered me back very quickly. Very polite and informative email. Prices were indeed $35 for the excursion, $40 if you want to include lunch. And he said, "We ENSURE your return to shore in more than enough time for your
tenders back to the ship."
I'm booked somewhere else for $10 more with a place that has received some wonderful reviews as well, so haven't switched over. Still deciding. But the place does sound good!
Orion gave me the name of the place too (obviously) so if you want to pm me I'll be happy to share that one and the one that I'm booked on so you can make some comparisons and choose for yourself.
