Default deep sea fishing??

I am looking for some information from anyone who has done some deep sea fishing. The islands we will be going to during our cruise are Nassau, Cozumel, Costa Maya, Belize, St Thomas, and St. Martin. Okay so of all those places which would be the better of trying fishing. Have never done deep sea fishing before. Should we book with the ship or with a private company. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Cozumel has good fishing. Book through the ship. It is actually cheaper.

I have been fishing in Cozumel and we caught several small tuna as well as 2 mahi mahi. Had a great time. This was in June. I really depends on when you are going. Good luck!

For individuals that want to go fishing in Cozumel, the ship's tour might be a better option since many private operators only offer charters/private tours for fishing. Cozumel is certainly a good choice!

My family is very interested in the deep sea fishing. We will be in Cozumel in Feb on Conquest. If we book thru Carnival excursion goes until 5:30 and Conquest is suppose to leave at 6:00. Isn't that cutting it real close? I've read the ship will not leave port if you book thru Carnival, but still makes us a little nervous.

How is the fishing in Feb?

Well after searching and searching I did find a deep fishing tour in Cozumel for six of us. I did not go with the ship in the end, I did find it cheaper which was nice. Will let you know how it goes, hope we catch lots!!

When is your cruise? We are going Feb 18th. Was curious if you are going before us. If so maybe I'll wait for your review.
