Most Cost Effective Way to Get FULL access to Atlantis
We are 4 adults and 2 kids (6 and 4). We will be in port at Nassau from 10-4 and would like to spend the day at the Atlantis. I know they require that you pay to do so, but what have people done (short of paying the $300/night for a room)? I think there is a neighboring hotel that offers full access if you get a (cheaper) room there, but that is still a couple hundred dollars for 6 people. I am not looking to sneak in or anything, I just want to know what people have had success doing so that they can get full access to the Atlantis resort as described. Thanks in advance!
I understand there is a neighboring hotel that allows you full access to Atlantis when booking there. They do have a limit to each room, only 4, so you'd have to get 2 to cover your family, sounds mighty expensive.
When we went to Atlantis for five days, we stayed at the Comfort Suites, which is right across the street from the hotel, and since they are owned by the same conglomerate, you do get the full use of the Atlantis property. I know several people have rented a room there for one day in order to do this. However, during most of the year, they have a minimum stay that is longer. When we returned to Nassau on a cruise ship two years later, I found out through someone on Cruise Critic that there was a fellow who was a manager at Comfort Suites who was selling arm bands for $25 apiece, and you called him at the hotel, and then he made arrangements to meet you at the ship at 8 a.m. It worked like a charm. We felt like my husband was making a drug deal, but we paid him $100 cash, got the arm bands and spent a wonderful day at Atlantis. I heard two months later that Comfort Suites discovered what he was doing and he was fired.

unfortunately "cost-effective" and Atlantis really don't go together. As far as i know to get '"full access" to all that Atlantis has to offer you must be a registerd guest. Used to be that if you booked into the Comfort Inn you could tour The Dig, use the beach but not the waterslides.
We haven't been there in a couple of years so things may have changed. If you just want to tour The Dig simply grab a cab- either water or land, you enter in by the casino there is a kiosk there where you can buy your ticket for The Dig - it is so worth the price! The Dig is awesome.
We were in Nassau three weeks ago. We arrived at Altantis early and were able to reserve a "day room" they have these available on a limited basis. It was $200 for 4 people and it gave us unlimited access to the resort from 9 am until 6 pm. It was well worth the money considering the Dig alone would have been $29. We were very surprised to find out that a day room even existed because there was nothing on any of the sites that we had looked at that indicated that package. The girl at the desk informed us that they do not take reservations, first come first served and only on days that are not very very busy. Good luck! We were disappointed that the coaster waterslides were under construction but other than that "WOW"
