Pirates Museum in Nassau

Has anyone been to the Pirates Museum in Nassau? Is it really great or just OK? I am travelling with three children, ages 8, 11 and 14 and I was wondering if it was worth the trip. Thanks, Smiling Jamie

My husband and I went in 2005 to the pirate musuem and the historical tour(Carnival Fantasy). We really enjoyed the entire trip and the musuem was fun. We're going back to Nassau and plan on taking our kids-11 and 13- there as well. I think the kids would enjoy it-there's a pirate ship inside the building and you walk through areas that resemble the inside of a pirate ship. It's interesting and you learn about life on a ship. Only complaint we had- we were not told if you book the combo trip(historical and pirate) you do not have transportation back to the ship. It's only a few blocks away with plenty of shopping in between but I have trouble walking long distances. It wasn't a big problem as it's an easy walk, just be aware beforehand. Have fun! We cruise there on the Glory 5/26/07!

The kids would like it.

If not for the kid factor Id skip it and go to the Atlantis or something more adult oriented.
