We have to make a 10 am flight in Orlando. We can carry off our bags and hope to get off the ship early. Need a recommendation for quick ground transportation from Port Canaveral to the airport.
mahirsch, I honestly don't think it is possible to make that flight. If the ship gets in on time and even if you got off the ship at 8am, it is an hour ride to MCO, then you still have to go thru security which can be long, take the shuttle over to the departure airport area and find your gate. I wouldn't want all that pressure and stress. That said, the quickest ground transportation would be a cab. The ship's transfers have to wait to be filled before they leave. You need to change the flight to no sooner than noon. I use to live there, visit often and have even cruised from Port C a few times. This is just my experience and opinion. Good luck.

If you have a national flight you need to be at the airport at least hour and a half prior your flight’s departure. In order to get there in time first you need to warn the cruise line that you have an early flight, you can leave as soon as the ship docks (7:00 - 7:30 AM). The ride to the airport is about 45 - 50 minutes.
I would suggest using prearranged port Canaveral to MCO transportation, as my family did.
