Default Barbados - Bridgetown

does anyone know of a place in barbados that you could just spend the day at that includes food and alcohol for the day? I'll be there from a cruise in April and we wanted to find a relaxing place to eat and drink for the day. Thank you.

You can inquire about Carlisle Bay Beach, which has a number of hotels and the cruise line may have a shore excursion that entitles you to use the facilities of the hotel and includes a buffet lunch and open bar.

You can go to Boatyard Beach, not far from the pier.

There's a shore excursion there called the "Five Star Catamaran with Lunch" in which a sailing catamaran takes you to a great secluded beach for swimming and sunbathing. The crew serves beverages and a buffet lunch aboard the boat. Beverages are available throughout the excursion. If you are looking for total relaxation, it's a great choice!

Norm.

I'd do the 5 star catamaran if I were you. We did it in November. Food is excellent and plentiful and great open bar. Also get to snorkel 3 times, once w/ big sea turtles!

We just returned from our cruise March 1 and we went to the Boatyard. It was $15 to get in, you get a chair, drink and a ride back ton the ship. When we go back next year we will return there. The beach was beautiful. There ewas lots to do.

Boatyard Beach. Water was clearest I have ever seen. Sand the softest. No twigs, seaweed, shells or stones.

Plenty of water toys (Trampoline, swinging rope, climbing iceberg, etc). Good food and nice nice beach drinks. Very nice way to spend the day.
