Moped or motorized scooters in Nassau?

My husband and I will be taking our first cruise to Nassau in a few weeks. Is there a way to rent motorized scooters in Nassau for the day? We'd like to rent bikes or mopeds if possible? Are the Royal Caribbean tour excursions worth it or is it better to explore on your own? Thanks!
