White Water Rating in Costa Rica

Everyone, we are looking at doing the white water rafting in Cosat Rica and we are trying to decide whether we will go with the ship or on our own. I have looked ta several private compnanies and have seen three dufferent rivers listed

My questions are these: Did you go with the ship or a private tour? If you went with the ship what was the name of the river? If it was a private tour do you remember the name of the river?

Any help would be great as I am trying to get things booked. Thanks

We did the White Water rafting with Rios Tropicales on a ship's excursion.

Thanks and those were some great pictures! Were you on carnival when you did that excursion? Do you remember how long you were actually in the water? Do you remember if the guide said what class rapids you were in (they range 1-5 ususlly). What time of the year were you there? Sorry for all the questions, but I have been put in charge of booking the excursions for my wife and another couple and about a month ago I had heard that the rafting portion of the excursion wasn't that long.

I think I came across Rios Tropicales last night on a google search.
