Default horseback riding ocho rios

We are booking our first cruise and looking at the imagination going to ocho ricos and grand cayman. We want to do dunns fall and would like to go horseback riding on the beach. Our travel agent said that horseback riding is a mistake the horses are wild and not healthly. She booked hers thru the ship has anyone done this? We are looking at the submarine ride at the caymans, anyone tried that? We don't drink, scuba diving is not our thing, any advise on things to do would be apprecated.

Default Horseback riding in Ocho Riosa

We went horsebacking riding and booked it through RC's excursion on our first cruise in 2004. We were able to do both Dunns River and horseback ride. The horses did not seem unhealthly at all and it was one of my favorite excursions so far.

I hope you get lots of replys. That is the one thing my Granddaughter really wants to do. Her dream take horses on the beach. I really did not enjoy Ocho Rios ( been there twice) So I hoped to find a horseback excursion to keep away from the town.. Of course might have to come wash the trail dust down at Margarittaville after wards. Now thats a fun place.

Check out Hooves http://www.hoovesjamaica.com/ The e-mail address they have listed on their website is outdated. The correct e-mail is: hooves@cwjamaica.com

I'm in the process of booking a ride there in August.

There is also good riding at Grand Cayman at Pampered Ponies http://www.ponies.ky/
