Default Swiming with the Dolphins?

We will be going on the Triumph in Jan 08 and the ports we have are:
Half Moon Cay, St Thomas, San Jaun and Grand Turk.

My DH and I want to swim with the Dolphins can we do that at any of these ports, if so which is best?

Thanks,
Michelle

Michelle,

Have you gone to the excursions on the Carnival site? That will give you something to go by.

Also check out a company called Dolphin Discovery. I don't know if they do the Eastern side like they do the western. If you have no luck, let me know, and I will help you do the research.

Luanne

please read all the dolphin literature carefully. Last winter we were on a HAL cruise and did the dolphin swim. It was very disappointing compared to stories and pictures we've seen of friends doing it.

Ours was in Jamaica and we were just floating in life jackets while dolphins swam by us. we were allowed to touch them once by holding out our hands and letting the dolphin swim by.

I've had friends do it were they actually get pulled around in the water so please ask lots of questions before booking.

This advice is good for anything that you do. It is also why boards like this are so important. There have always been three tiers of Dolphin swim. It is true that the lest costly is barely getting into the water.

We are doing the same cruise but in April. Let us know how you liked the ports and the ship.
Thanks,
