My husband and I are cruising for out 25th anniversary on the Mariner 9/9/07.

What we need to know from all of you experienced cruisers is this-
Has anyone taken the calypso rafting excursion and is part of the trip to Dunns River Falls?

I did the Dunn's Falls tour but not the rafting part
The falls is a beautiful thing to see. But you may want to try climbing it yourself instead of with a tour. With a tour you are just moved through with about 50 other people. You'll feel like herded cattle

Wear some kind of water shoe to protect your feet. Climb it yourself and you can take your time and enjoy it.

Also some water proof pocket or bag to protect your cards and / or money.

Don't forget you waterproof cameras. Many photo opportunities. Also buy and bring your own water shoes. Lockers are $8.00/$3 refunded to you when you return key.
