Hi, we are researching the activities in Cozumel and having taken the tulum tour before we are looking at the Cozumel powerboat tour. Anyone has a review on this tour?? We have to teenagers and they already dream of these boats..jeje, thanks!
This is a great adventure tour in Cozumel..drive your 2 person speedboat and enjoy Mexican lunch at Private Beach Club. It is very popular and offered by all cruise lines visiting the island...good luck!
We did the power boat excursion back in February.
Being boaters ourselves we were not too thrilled with these boats.
We felt they were much too small for the chop of the water.
The tour takes you to a beach about a mile away where you do whatever you want for 1/2 hour or so. The water was wonderful and clear but the guides should spend twenty minutes picking up the trash.
At the end of the tour there was a little buffet thing with some stuff that looks like chicken and tortillas. I couldn't bring myself to eat any.
You'll get a cup of coke poured from a liter bottle... no ice.
Before the tour ended the main guide asked us for tips as follows:
If we had a good time then 100.00 is in order.
So so time, then fifty dollars.
Did not like....20.00 will do.
This guy was dead serious.
I tipped 20.00.
Your teens may enjoy it.
Peace through superior firepower.
