We will publish exclusive air photos of Costa Maya (Mjahual) Village, Pier, Beaches, etc. on our temporary website just for this for this subject. Monday the 2nd of September we will receive formal and official information about the future of Costa Maya, however I do not expect any cruise ships visiting before February. We will keep updated information on this forum posted. I hope this helps. .... and there is anotherone (hurricane) coming...let's hope. Cozumel is always ready! Before, during and After.
Better late than never, here are some aerial photos taken just 2 days after the Hurricane Dean passed over Mahahual and Costa Maya (http://www.cozumel-watersports.com/H...nCostaMaya.htm)...I hope they are illustrative in order to get an idea of what happened to the area and what it takes to bring Mahahual back up...
