Can anyone give me some suggestions for things to do in Grand Turk? I have a client going there in Dec. and I don't know a whole lot about this port. Thanks in advance for any help.
It is a 7 mile long and 1.5 mile wide island where the horses, donkeys and cattle can roam free. We took the bus tour which was just okay. It took us to the prison, lighthouse and shopping ares (no one got off there). There were no bathroom stops anywhere, supposedly they were broke. Others on the bus were getting off to go snorkeling at a beach on the other side. If we went again, we will just grab a cabana on the beach or go to Margaritaville. Margaritaville has 2 large, very nice pools and music.

We also took the bus tour last year when we were there. We got off the bus at Her Majesty's Prison and the Lighthouse. We walked down to the beach behind the lighthouse. It was very pretty there. I don't think the bus is worth the price they charge. If we ever go back there we will find something else to do. The island is very pretty and the beaches are beautiful. I hear the snorkeling is fantastic, if you do that kind of thing.

I went on a semisub tour, which also offered another tour that included a 30 minute snorkle. I had a good time on that tour. The ladies at the table did the bus tour and didn't really enjoy it, they were a little bored. I stayed around the cruise center and wandered in and out of the shops. I wanted to buy a conch shell, but knew my suitcase was fairly full, so I resisted....I kicked myself the next day when I was packing because I did have room in my suitcase for at least one conch shell. The couple at out table just walked along the beach for around an hour and then walked back, they enjoyed that. I walked a short stretch of the beach and wnt looking for shells--I found a piece of coral instead...
Margaritaville is a cool place to hang out. The pools are fascinating and the drinks are expensive-but worth a try!

we found margaritaville a great place to hang out in turks. swim up bar, contests with a lively dj and great music. yes some of the drinks were expensive, but we found the drinks $ changed it we left a tip. definitely a good idea
You could give them this website then they can choose something that interests them http://www.grandturkcc.com/
There is a HOHO bus they can do a tour of the island
We were there in May. We did the Glass Bottom Ocean Kayak with snorkeling. NOT worth the $$$. The bottom of the kayak was scratched and blurry to the point of not being able to see. The "ocean" was a small inlet that was more like a river. The snorkeling was in the ocean right next to the cruise center where everyone was swimming and laying out. We skipped the snorkel walked up the beach (that was the best part) and did some shopping. This is still a developing area and when a cruise ship docks it doubles the population of the island. The locals are very friendly and helpful. We spoke to others that did a horse and carriage ride of the island and said it was nice.
