to make any suggestions we need to know what you are interested in doing. I would suggest going to your cruise lines web site and just surf around the shore excursions that are offered, find a few that make you go "hmm it think it would like to try that" and then come back to us with your ideas and we can give you some feedback and advise on cruisetours vs independants.

I have done the catamaran excursions in St Thomas and I have enjoyed that more than any other excursion. You have a crew of 2-3 people waiting on you hand and foot, beautiful scenery, snorkeling if you choose to do so, free lunch and open bar if you are interested. it is ALWAYS something I plan to do when I visi St Thomas. You really cant go wrong. One of the most relaxing things I have ever done. I still go there in my mind on real stressful days at work!!! I went there on Princess and used their own company with the cruise ship. i dont know how it is wih other cruise lines, but I was very satisfied(it can be a little pricey)

The Catamaran sail is great and also a side trip to St. John's and Trunk Bay is also nice. In Tortola visit the "Baths" quite a scene !
