Default Cab availablility on Grand Cayman

We will be there in just over two weeks. We want to go do a tour of the Turtle Farm (Boatswain Beach) and will need to take a cab. There will be four ships in port, which include two of RCI's monsters (Freedom OTS and Navitagor OTS). I can only hope getting cab to go there and getting back will be not too difficult. We don't want to do the tour the cruise like is offering as we don't think we will need four hours to spend there, that and we want to spend a few hours shopping, which a four hour tour won't allow too much time for shopping.

13 days!!!!

We were there last year & there were several taxis but we were the only ship in port at the time. You could arrange a taxi ahead of time to be sure to get one. also there is a bus

The island is extremely civilized with tons of taxis.
I would suggest you take the tour that includes the stingrays as well. The turtle farm was interesting but it will take less than an hour to see everything (not big) and the stingrays were remarkable.

We did the tour that went to stingray city last year. We spent 3 hours of the 4.5 hours at/getting to/from Stingray city and less than one hour at Hell, the turtle farm AND getting back to the center of town. We had a total of 30 minuts at the turtle farm (and everyone wasted five on a bathroom break after 90+ minutes in a boat that barely went faster than a 10HP motorboat) and didn't see much at all....six tanks and a few seconds at the breeding pond...I only had time to shop at their gift shop and was amazed at how much I could get in under 10 minutes.

If we only spend 2 hours there and then head to Hell so my niece can tell her friends she went to hell and hand a enjoyed herself 8) .We can spend a few hours shopping. I'll need a while in the Tortuga store.....
