We will be in Bonaire early December on the Emerald Princess. Any suggestions?

It's been a few years, but Pink Beach and Lac Bay were nice and hopefully you will get a chance to see the large numbers of flamingos in their island habitat.

My DH & I were in Bonnaire last December and saw Dune Buggy and ATV rentals as we got off the Crown Princess. We thought they looked neat but kept going. In town we met a fellow passenger who rented the dune buggy and we decided it looked like fun, so walked back to rental site. Dune buggies were all rented so we took an ATV for $90 for full day and had soooo much fun driving around the island. We had such a great time and it was one of the highlights of our cruise. Best tip - don't forget sun screen!!

If you really like snorkeling all you have to do is get off the ship and walk down to Karel's bar there on the water. There is a water taxi there that will take you over to Klein Bonaire. It is an uninhabitated island that has the most amazing snorkeling you will find. Just off the shore the beach drops off dramatically and provides a wall of fabulous snorkeling. Acutally the whole island is known for wall diving right off shore but in this case you would just be snorkeling. Fun and the drinks and photo ops at Karel's afterwards are priceless.

We were in Bonaire last October and we booked an excursion through Princess to go to The Plaza Resort Bonaire. There you can utilize their pool and facilities, also they have a very nice beach with lounge chairs and a cute bar that sits on the beach. If you like to see photos of this resort please feel free to email me at scarroll1@nycap.rr.com

Enjoy!
