Default San Juan Resort for the day?

I know the Caribe Hilton offers day passes (if space available). We are looking for a resort where we could enjoy the beach/pool/etc. for the day. Any suggestions?

The Marriot offers day passes and day rooms but they can not be booked in advance.

Don't miss out on Old San Juan, there is plenty to see and do there:

You could do a walking tour of Old San Juan

Tour Old San Juan on a Segway

just a couple of ideas

When we are in San Juan we usually walk to Barrachinas.
It is a short distance from the pier.
It is a little indoor/outdoor cafe/restaurant.
They pride themselves as being the birthplace of the Pina Colada.
There is a brass plaque on the outside of the building attesting to the fact.
Pina Colada's are free for the asking.
Barrachina has a convenient FREE service for travelers.
If your ship finishes up the cruise in San Juan and your flight home in not until late in the day, you can drop your luggage off at Barrachinas and they will hold it for "Free", enabling you to tour the city luggage free.
When you return, present your luggage stub, retrieve your luggage, hail a cab, and you are off to the airport.
We have used their service many times with a hitch.

Check out the Wyndham condado. Awesome pool and beach. Also check out Old San Juan but do it on your own. It is walking distance from the pier. Don't waste the money on a ship tour. You will be more rushed and it is hard to keep in a group there. Lots of neat little shops and restaurants worth checking out on your own schedule.
