Do or Don't? Horseback riding in Freeport, Grand Bahamas

I'm planning a horseback riding excursion during our port call at Grand Bahamas Island. I've heard Freeport is an "industrial wasteland", so I'm wondering if I should do an excursion that will take us throughout Freeport with Pinetree Stables? OR should I book an excursion that includes strictly a ride at the beach with Trikk Pony?

If anyone have experience with either of these 2, or any idea about Freeport at all, please help. Thank you!
