Cozumel Jeep tour or "Amazing Cozumel Race" ???

Has anyone feedback from the Cozumel Jeep tour or "Amazing Cozumel Race" ?
The jeep goes to El Cedral Mayan ruin, an old church, and includes a lunch and snorkeling. I love history, but care not so much for beaches. A shore excursion with history & culture is my proverbial cup of tea.
Amazing race was once called Race Fantastique and is evidently a game where groups of 4 to 10 compete to unlock clues. It too includes a lunch/dinner and snorkeling.
I'm leaving on the Carnival Holiday in April and appreciate any input.

We saw the people from the amazing race in cozumel running around and sweating .. I think you dont really get to appreciate or take advantage of your day in Cozumel..we did the Dune Buggy tour with cozumel-watersports and thought to see a lot of the island, town, beaches, shore lines, history, snorkel, etc..guess everybody has their own preferences...

That's my guess as well. That's why I opted for the Jeep tour.
