Default Educational excursion in Nassau?

My 7 y/o son has to do a scrapbook of his vacation for school. The only real port we are visiting is Nassau. Is there any particular place that would be educational for him? He's been to SeaWorld many times so I'm not sure Atlantis would impress him. We will also have our 6 month old baby with us so we need to have some flexibility with our scheduling. Any advice?

Oh, for sure visit ATlantis in Paradise Island....Do a tour and you can see the whole aquarium. Its pretty flexible, you can take a taxi or the water taxi over, not far from the pier...I bet he loves seeing that.

There's also a walking tour with a map that can be found at the pier - it's really neat - you don't have to do the whole thing -the Queen's staircase is something to see for sure - I'd suggest that or get a tour of the complete island plus Atlantis from a local for $28.00 our guide was named James - he was super, lots of info and he stopped for photo ops. Hope this helps - have a great time!

Thank you both for your advice!

How do I contact a local vendor? My dh and I both decided long ago that RCI's excursions cost way too much for too little value

Oh, this sounds really good since I just want the tour also. Our little one is too young for the water park and I don't want him too exposed to the sun. I'm not sure if we will have the time to see the island since we were planning to swim with dolphins, well minus my mum who probably will stay with the baby, so does anyone know how much is just the tour of Atlantis and whether we have to book this somewhere?

I am booking through carnival and we are going to the staircase and to the pirate museum, my daughter loves history and facts, almost as much as she loves snorkeling
