Just wondering what you would reccomend. Both Royal Carribean and Carnival offer an almost identical schedule on the date we are looking to travel (jan 10), to the southern caribbean. Just wondering which you would reccomend Royal Carribean is slightly more expensive but it is our first cruise and we would be willing to pay more if it meant a better experience.
cruised twice to the southern on carnival, both times we had a blast. We have cruised royal once but to the western. With carnival we were on the destiny, what ship for you? My in-laws were on the adventure of the seas to the southern a few years back and had a great time. I think you will have a great time either way.
Which are the ships, makes a huge difference?? If they still have a Voyager or Freedom class doing that route, I would highly suggest giving that a try..
Trying to compare cruise lines is like trying to compare apples to oranges, its all about your own personal preference, with that being said, i totally agree with Donna about either a Voyager or Freedom class RCCL ship
Echoing other posters, if the itineraries are close enough for you I'd recommend doing a little thinking about what you expect out of a cruise and then learn a little about each line and ship. Go to the bookstore or library and find books that provide general information on cruising. They usually have profiles of "typical cruisers" on each line - though nobody claims to be typical
My gut says you would enjoy either cruise.
