Belize: tendering to which wharf?

We are meeting friends in Belize. They have asked which wharf we will be arriving at, the Radisson or the Old Belize Town wharf.

I cannot find that answer in our itinerary! I know we tender into the city... but don't know the wharf!

Unless there is some new port there, my tenter trip in Belieze was just one port...Was there a newer one built in the last few years??

I have read that there are plans to build a pier there and that work has even started, but I don't think its any where near complete yet. Anyone know?

I've been there 3 times and always to the same spot-- tell them to meet you at the tender port at the tourist village. That's the only one I know of that they tender passengers to unless it's a small group that's on a private excursion.

There is only ONE wharf for cruise ship tendering. It's neither of the ones you named. Old Town has the water taxis to the Cayes and the Radisson is for pleasure boats. There actually were plans for another, but nothing much has been done with it as yet. BTW--Access is limited into the tourist area so you'll need to meet at the exit. They can't miss it, it's the only one.
