We are arriving a day early for our cruise in October 2010. Wanted to get suggestions of places to go/see/visit. Also any good club/bar spots in the evening. It's a group of seasoned ladies that are going that's looking to have a great time!!! Seasoned as in we're not in our 20s nor knocking on 45!!!-
Well for me, shopping is paramount, so Forteleaza St. is the place to be... There is aven a Marshalls there..go figure! If you are there on a Saturday, there is a craft fair in Old San Juan, by the fountain, and visitors center...if you have a taste for eco tourism, El Junque, the rain forest may be your cuppa tea....Go over the hotel district..the El san Juan, is a wonderful dining and entertianment venue, with a casino....you can hotel hop to see it all, as they are all close by...there is also a Hard Rock Cafe there, in the old district...

Taking a walk up to El Morro is always a fun thing to do, with shopping on the way. The views from the fort are something else, then when you cruise past it getting out of the port are wonderful. Also, a lot of history there and a nice way to spend a day.
hate to say it, but personally the Barcardi Factory tour isn't all that its cracked up to be, basically i think its just a tourist trap but thats just my opinion.
