Aruba and Curacoa suggestions

We are heading to these ports in Feb. 2012. I am looking for excursion suggestions. We like snorkling. I have heard Aruba is the place for that. Any suggestions on certain tours to snorkle. How about Curacoa. Sounds like maybe a shopping day. How are the prices, and what is the speciality?

Aruba really doesn't have good snorkeling, but they do offer a lot of nice beaches along the rows of hotels. It is easy to take their public bus to a beach or a taxi...The snorkeling is better in Curacao, look through your list of shore excursions and see what is offered at each port. Be sure to take a walk around town in Curacao, the locals are friendly and not overly pushy in the least.

If you enjoy snorkeling, I suggest you try snorkeling with the sea lions at the Curacao Seaquarium! My DW absolutely loved it.

I totally agree with the other posters Curacao is the place to snorkel. What we like to do is go snorkeling in the morning, go back to the ship, shower/change have a bite to eat and then head out to wander around the shops in Curacao

Actually there are two companies that do snorkel tours in Aruba that includes the Antilla ship wreak. I've never snorkeled a wreck before so I'm excited to check it out. They stop at one or two other sites as well as have a rope swing off the boat into the water, beverages served and some have food.
