St. Thomas Skyride

Cruising in January with family and one of the cruise ports is St. Thomas. We've done the beaches, shopping etc, but never heard of Paradise Point. Is it worth the trip? Would grandkids ages 6 and 12 enjoy Paradise Point? Approximate cost and time needed for this excursion. Ship excursion or private?

Since we went a few years ago the price has gone way up.

Its something you should see and experience once. The view is awesome, unless its foggy/rainy.

Not sure they offer the Bushwacker in the keepsake skyride glass any more.

Its right across the street from the ship so its easy to do if you have about 45 mins before getting back to the ship.

There is a bar up there with a good local brew.

its a short walk from the pier to the tramway, the view from up top is beautiful. There are some shops, restaurants, a botantical garden, and and avairy with some pretty neat birds

Thanks all for your great information. I think we'll give it a try since it's entirely different than anything we've done in St. Thomas. One good way to stay out of the jewelry stores.
