Best tours/beaches in Antigua and Tortola?
We are cruising in August, and I wanted to start looking for things to do. I think we are going on the kayak eco-tour in Antigua, and I thought about beach and shopping at Tortola. I prefer to book outside of the cruise lines.

Can I just walk or get a taxi in Tortola to go to a beach?

Does Tortola have good snorkeling?

Thanks in advance for everyone's opinions!!

We had a great tour in Antigua 2 weeks ago.It was supposed to be 3 1/2 hours but it was 5 .Our tour guide was the best I've ever had in 50 years of vacationing .

In some cases when a cruise ship docks in Tortola you can some times take a cruise tour to Virgin Gorda...I highly reccomend that tour because you will see one of the most beautiful beaches in the Carribean called "The Baths" simply wonderful, look into it, its worth going to.

We will be cruising this itinerary in the fall. We plan on doing the baths in Tortola, using Speedy's Shuttle Service.

I cannot remember exactly, but I do think there is a beach within walking distance in Antigua where you can rent an umbrella and get drink tickets.

Grande Anse Beach in Torola, is always in the World's Top 10 Beaches...We did an island tour, and, stopped there for a while. It is beautiful, so relax, and enjoy a beach day.
