Default CDC Issues Travel Notice For St. Martin

The Centers For Disease Control (CDC) has issued a travel notice for the island of St. Martin. A mosquito-borne illness called Chikungunya has been verified in some residents. Read more here.

Just visited for 3 days last month and didn't see one mosquito. Maybe not the season?

Mosquitoes are there all the time. Likely they have been more aggressive in spraying to keep them off the beaten paths as much as possible.
