Default Video cameras & VCR's

We are taking a video camera, does Carnival have restrictions on where you use it? Also, there's not a VCR in the cabins is there? Any more advice, would be greatly appreciated!

I believe that the casino is the only "forbidden" place for cameras/camcorders.

My last Carnival cruise was 4 years ago (Inspiration) and we didn't have a VCR. Not sure if that has changed, though.

Have never been on Carnival but I agree that the only place I have not been able to use my video camera was in casino. However have never tried to use it in the theatre. Will be interested to know since we are going on two Carnival cruises within the next six months.

They usually do not allow video in the theater during shows, because the productions are "copyrighted" works -- Maybe Jeanne Anne Ryan (from NCL entertainment) might try to steal a Carnival show!

Please, forgive me, but this will be our 1st cruise, and we're not very hip to the terms. What is NCL? Carnival won't hassle you, when you bring it on the ship, will they? As before, any advice will be great!

NCL is Norwegian Cruise Lines :-)

Hassle you about bringing a cam-corder on the ship? No! of course not.

Don't forget the "topless deck".
No cameras allowed up there either!

Hi, NCL stands for Norwegian Cruise Lines. The suites on the larger Carnival ships have VCR's. Destiny, Triumph, Victory
