Wish us luck for our cruise out of P.R. on 9/17. I was on the Paradise last year (mid Sept) doing the E.Carribean route & had FANTASTIC weather and a FANTASTIC time. We are keeping our (my wife & another couple) fingers crossed that there are NO STORMS in the area and NO BROKEN CARNIVAL DESTINY for our trip. If anyone has been any of the Eastern/Southern Carr. routes lately, I would love to hear about any shore excursions that you've enjoyed(or disliked). I plan on taking a shuttle to St John (by myself-not an excursion), to do some snorkeling. Any experience on this is also appreciated.
Thanks!!...PS I like the new format on this mssg. board!
St. John's (Trunk Bay) is a must for snorkeling. They have a trail around a little island that you can follow. I took an excursion, but when I go again, will do the trip without help from anyone. Take a cab, I believe the ferry runs every hour (??). Hope when you say "by myself", that is just a figure of speech, really shouldn't go to St. John's without someone to share the experience with.
