Default Sensation 9-10-2000

I just got back from the sensation which left 9-10-2000. It was our first cruise. We just got back today around 4:00 pm. It was a wonderful vacation. I will definatly be sailing again even after the extra day at sea in which the ship was really rocky. I think carnival did an excellent job in handling the situation because they made sure they kept activities going for the guest throughout the remaining time at sea. There was some people who missed flights due to the ship getting in late, but they made sure the flights were rescheduled. There are also doing well in re embursing those who were supposed to sail on the 17th. I think carnival did a great job and I will sail with them again. Did anyone else go on this cruise on 9-10-2000? I would like to know how you held out Sunday night. It was pretty rocky. It was hard to walk around with the ship rocking like that.

Hi Cat,
Glad you enjoyed your first cruise, even with the bad weather. Its good to know the Carnival handled the situation well, even though it was out of their control.
So, what ship are you cruising next??

We want to take a cruise next year, but we are thinking about the western caribbean this time. I would like to go to aruba and the islands around there. My boyfriend wants to go to the bahamas, but I think they will be a lot like Florida. I thinks we want to go further down to see something different.

Hi Cat,
Yes, I like you thinking there. You can always do a short one to the Bahamas. I personall like all the different islands on the Southern itinary and I think everyone should do the western at least once. Good luck in choosing a ship, there are just so many good ones out there :-)

A friend of mine is cruising on this ship next February. What was your impression of the ship itself....decor, cabins, overall style of ship?
