My husband and I went on the Elation in July....we had a WONDERFUL TIME!!!!
We woke up this Sunday morning and decided 4 months is way to long to go without another cruise....So were leaving in October on the Holiday...never been on this ship...Is there really anything to do in Enesada?
Thanks so much...

Trisha, I'm afraid that Ensenada is a bit of a pit, in my opinion. It's pretty dirty and has lots of poverty. Having said that, I'll admit to having a fun day trip there on several cruises.
There are quite a few active bars downtown (Papas & Beer being one famous one) as well as lots of shopping chances.
I don't think I'd recommend swimming on the beaches there, however.

We've been to Ensenada several times (by land and sea!). The next time I go, I will make a trip to Papa's and Beers, and then back to the ship, to lounge and relax. Actually, it's a great port to stay onboard (IMHO) and really enjoythe activities of the ship you are sailing on.
