Default wild thing

I read on another board that unless you are a good swimmer you will not be able to get to shore to enjoy the beach, you will have to stay on the wild thing, also the drinks and music only lasted about 10 minutes, the rest of the time you had to remain seated in your seat, anyone else experience this? Thanks Kirbi

I am so glad you posted this before I leave on Sat! I think the better thing to do would be go to St johns Trunk bay then shop for cheap liquor at the Havensight (sp)? mall or Kmart. check in when I get back and I'll let you know. Thanks again.

Hi Kirby,
Depending on what snorkel site they take you to, we had no problem swimming to the beach at Trunk Bay, they do provide you with a life vest so its really easy to swim. As for the music, while the boat was moving, it played the whole time and very loud too :-) On the way back and as soon as you were finished snorkeling they had rum punch set up, and lots of it. Its a really fun excersion.

Thanks for the info, I feel much better now about going on this excursion, the life vest is a big plus, since I'm not a great swimmer. Happy Cruising Kirbi
