Default smoking ??

I'm going on the Jubilee in Nov. and was wondering if smoking was aloud everywhere or if it was confined to certain areas. We are a non-smoking family,it really doesn't bother me as much as it does my wife and daughter. Also do the the rooms smell like smoke if the people before you were smokers ? Thanks for the info.

Hi Steve,
The only non-smoking ship of Carnival's so far is Paradise, so yes there will be certain areas in the ship that will allow it. I have never noticed a difference in the cabin from smoke. There is no smoking in any of the dinning rooms either, so I don't think this should be too much of a problem.

Steve,
There is no smoking allowed in the dining rooms and the show lounges. Smoking is 'supposed' to be restricted to the starboard side but you will occasionally see someone who is not very polite. Same goes for the rooms but even if someone did smoke in the room on the cruise prior to yours you probably will not notice it as they use a great deodorizer and fresh air is constantly circulated in every cabin.

We were on the Imagination 9/14/2000. We had a major problem with the smell of cigarette smoke in our room. They deodorized it a couple of times, but the smell was always back. We were told that if someone was smoking in cabins near ours, that the smoke would circulate to our room from the vents. You could actually smell the smoke coming from the vents.

We always take the small air freshners that you can purchase for your car. I think you get 3 in a package for around a $1.50. They work great in the cabin as it is small also.

Get some Fabreze. It will "KILL" the smoke smell on fabric.
