Hi! Has anyone stayed in a cabin on the front of the ship? We are looking at 6202 on the Upper deck of the Victory. Carnival tells us that the window is tinted and offers privacy even at night. Carnival also calls the cabin partially obstructed. Any comments? Also, Carnival tells us that the cabin is elavated above the public deck forward of our cabin. Does anyone know how elevated it is and is this area widely used? Thanks in advance for your help.
We recently cruised the Victory on a 4-day cruise out of Charleston. We had a suite in the center of the ship, but my cousin's room was 6203. SHE HATED IT--and she's not much of a complainer! She said that she had practically no view of the ocean. She had to go out a "hidden" door onto the walkway in front of the room in order to see the ocean. One good point was that she said she never saw anyone else on that walkway. We had some pretty rough seas one day, and you could feel the ship hitting the waves pretty hard in her room. I would definitely advise reserving another room!
