My family has decided to take a cruise on the Carnival Sensation on July 22, 2001 and now we are now trying to find the best deal. There will be 9 of us traveling and we will be looking for three rooms real close to each other.
We know that there are lots of cruise discounters on the Internet, and we want to find a good one to use. Does anyone have any recommendations on good ones or the ones to avoid.
I use a local Ta and she gives us just as good of a deal as these on internet. You can deal face to face its better that way. I'm afraid of getting ripped off on WWW.Your local TA should give you a good deal she will be making commision off 3 cabins!
One of the best things you can do is to advertise your desires on the bargainfinder site here and let the TA's come to you with their offers. You get to pick and choose who you wish to do business with. Remember to only deal with those that make you an offer and not anyone that wants you to give them a price they can "beat". Additionally insure that ALL costs are included and service levels meet your standard. The best price isn't always the best deal but you can get a great selcection to choose from. You can also choose any of those that advertise here in Cruisemates and feel pretty good about them. If you find someone specific I will be more than glad to help you with recommendations if I can privately.
My wife is a TA and often provides quotes to CruiseMates posts. She is affiliated with a local Travel Agency in our State. The agency is a full service, store front travel agency. They are not a booking engine like on the internet. If you want her to give you a quote you can contact her at my address.
I have used cruise.com for my last 6 cruises. I spent hours www ing it, and always came back to them, best prices!
Ask for Jordan...he's wonderful. Mention my name :o) maybe he'll give be a better deal next time!!
