Does anyone know how long it should take to get from the Miami airport to the pier to catch the Carnival Triumph? We got our travel documents today and the flights are tight. We arrive in Miami at 1:35 and are suppose to board no later than 3:30. Thanks

Provided your flight is on time, you should get there in time. ITs about a 20 minute ride from Miami airport to the pier. BTW, what time is the ship scheduled to leave port?? Did you also book the air yourself or with the cruiseline?
We booked through Carnival. I got the documents today and am kind of nervous. We leave Newark 8:30 arrive in Atlanta at 11:05 and leave Atlanta 11:45 for Miami for a 1:30 Miami arrival. It just seems like it's cutting it kind of close to me. Some people say the cruise line will hold the ship if there's a problem but I don't know. Do you think I should try to get an earlier flight?
Yes, it is a 20 min drive from the airport to the pier. When you booked your cruise, did you get the air/sea package or did you book the air separte from the cruise?

It is about a 20 minute ride from airport to dock. If you booked your flight with Carnival (Air/Sea program) it should not be a problem. They know whos flights are running late and so forth. I was on a Carnival ship a little over a year ago and the ship waited for flights to come in that got delayed. It is a little confusing at Miami airport sometimes. Just find the people with the Carnival signs and they will direct you to the buses. The buses take you right to the ship. Piece of cake!
