Default Pregnant & cruising???

We are scheduled to be on the 8/4/01 cruising of the Triumph... that's good news.
We also have just been informed that we are expecting our second child... great news also. Now my question, my wife would be about 5 months pregnant in Aug. would that be to late to go on a cruise? So, I am looking for opinions from all woman who were pregnant while on a cruise, and also all men who can give me advice on whether I can tolerate my wife at 5 months pregnant on a cruise ship.

Hi George,

On our last cruise I was 6 months pregnant. I ahve to say we still had a GREAT time. Your wife will be able to relax and be waited on. Always important when youre pregnant. As well as eat ALL she wants. Have a great time.

Hi George,

I am a Travel Agent and I thought I'd let you know Carnival's policy...just an FYI..."guests who enter their third trimester of pregnancy at the time of voyage will not be permitted to sail because of the risk of premature labor." I believe she will be in her second trimester so there shouldnt be any problems as far as Carnival is concerned. Other than that, I dont see why she wouldnt have a wonderful time. Just be sure to have your wife check with her doctor and let him/her know of the travel plans, expecially if there are plans to fly. Also, you may want to check to see if the insurance (if purchased) covers pregnancy as you dont know what the future holds. Your TA will be able to give you a 1-800 # to call to get additional insurance information. Have fun!
